I'm not sure how your list of manual labor that people could do pertains to any of my argument/statement since i was pointing out that some of the people who are homeless who turn down manual labor do it because they are physically incapable of manual labor? or is this one of those things where everything i point out about how some people just can't is unimportant because theres someone somewhere who is just using the system so therefore all those people are invalid?

but he didnt, he got a pile of dust and added it to a pile of clay to make a symbolic brick. he made a brick from pollution the same way you make a cake from eggs.

pretty sure thats mostly in large cities and i feel like in a large city theres not enough people with lawns to be driving around offering $50 to mow it.
Swiss and their nuclear fallout shelters 22 comments

type of land i think effects it a bit, like in places where people have basements, if buildings where originally built with the intent this is more feasible (as it would not be hard to make a dual purpose bunker/basement) whereas places where you cannot safely have basements (florida) it would have to be its own standalone building sort of doubling housing expenses.. its probably more humane in the end that we don't as i doubt we could support the entire population after nuclear fallout, and i know i for one would rather die fast in the blast than linger without food or hope.

i get the impression its referring to a one day event... like this one day the kid is wearing the camo jacket and the other kid thinks its funny to pretend he can't see him so keeps running into him to make his joke. kids especially are not great at realizing the joke is wore the fuck out so i still wouldn't automatically group it that way, theres not nearly enough info here to make that call, but i agree the *possibility* exists that it could be bullying.

What the author meant 19 comments

it used to bother me so much in English class, i am nearly certain that most of these authors did not intend every other word to be an allegory for something, often i think they were just writing nice stories with good morals. its just human nature to find patterns in everything its the same part of your brain that latches onto conspiracies so of course you can find "symbolism" alllllll over a book that relates to the original moral or whatever of the story.
