Everyone should know by now that black women do not like for our hair to be touched by strangers. I swear the only person in my life that has ever asked permission to touch my hair was an Korean exchange student in high school. I let him and the rest is history.

You touch my hair and I don't know you, I'm not gonna be polite. You don't touch people's hair, period.

The day someone tells me to speak English in public is the day they get their feelings devastated.

I haven't heard "I'm a strong black woman" in a long time (referring to being a single mother) and I'm black. The younger black female generation ain't going for that. That strong black woman stereotype and mindset is very toxic.

At my location, a woman in her 50s passed out on the job. This was last year and they weren't using air conditioning in the building yet (location has been open since 2015) besides in the office area where the supervisors and etc are. The temps would reach 102 inside during the summer. No lie. That lady passed out and the "Safety" team asked her if she was still okay to work.

Some escalators aren't big enough for both kinds of people (walkers or standers). Honestly I don't give a fuck. If I'm on an escalator, I'm not in a rush.
