Not slightly exhausted. Every time I finish a really good book I feel as though I have lived a lifetime or gained another soul. Not in the sense that I'm gathering souls (maybe I really am, or not, you can't prove anything), but that another soul has become a part of me and I have lived through it all and more. Most times, I'll feel exactly like the main character of a book for a time after finishing the book. And it's bloody fantastic. Thank you, literary world, for allowing me to experience such a thing.

Today I got a haircut, and my friend who always says I look like a boy when I get it cut went a step further. He said I didn't even look human. We ended up laughing for a solid five minutes uncontrollably.
