That's a nice thought and all, but the diameter of the trunk is a vastly incorrect proportion to silver maple. I doubt any kind of maple would be able to adequately support a tire swing in just 20 short years of growth.

Seeing as how it's sitting in a bowl of water, I'm choosing to believe this was intentional. You can do this with almost any plant or vegetable, it's not hard.

Because most people have never *handled* a bat and if they did, they'd know that they are totally little evil devil creatures of the night that carry horrible diseases. Seriously, don't touch them.
