It should thaw itself out pretty well; a duck's core body temp is higher than ours. It probably just got that way by digging in cold mud for bugs and worms.

And I don't think it was the same outfit, just the same jacket over top of whatever shirt he was wearing that day. He just zipped it up before he left the hotel every day.
