so you agree they should post more useful things, actually related to police work instead of memes?

"implies". having to insert this into an accusation shows you've assigned precedence and prejudice due to personal agenda without understanding.

it is not my fault if you misinterpreted what are very clear statements on my behalf, was your misunderstanding due to either from haste or your own intention or agenda? please reread entire thread.

probably, but that wasn't the topic of debate here.

So you think police should post memes instead of solving crimes? That sounds like the beginnings of the purge.

if you bothered to read the thread before engaging you would see we are arguing over my preference that "i wish the police stopped crime instead of posting memes".

you realise the way to end this argument would have been to compare social media reach advertising to traditional media costs. Instead of yelling "PR needs to exist", you could have addressed a reduced PR cost of tweets compared to TV ads, but you were busy yelling about the wrong thing.

every tweet has to meet all standards laid out in each of these police policies.
A team collate content, a team monitor online response and a team measure adherence to legal standing and guidelines.

but the issue is that its not just one guy, its an entire social media team.
A team that could, i don't know, be doing actual police work.

so you think the twitter is able to be accessed by each individual officer in the NSW police. sounds like they are continuously seconds away from a PR nightmare.

I'd say he should probably be transferred to a higher crime area, make staff and assets a more flexible commodity to better utilize public money in the fight against crime. Or participate in community based crime intervention and prevention tasks to minimize risk of the crime being committed in the first place. Go talk to at risk youth, engage with local homeless support networks and build relationships with rehabilitation programs to minimize re offence and negate revolving door criminals. Or you know, he could jerk off to memes in the back room as you are suggesting.

wouldn't solving more crimes in itself be better PR? wouldn't paying the person to be actually speaking to victims f crime be better than a picture of a snake? Wouldn't them also crediting the photos origin to show they value upholding all aspects of the law, instead of picking and choosing who they protect so that there was a clear signal that if approached by a victim there would be no reason to worry about interaction with officers, which i assume is what you were implying spreading memes would do?

I'm not the one who sent it to the wrong number, giving out personal information of an applicant to a stranger, this would no doubt be covered by a businesses information security and privacy policy. Most likely a fireable offence committed by josh.

I'm 26. please answer the question of how many crimes this twitter account has solved. Please break it down into the context of crime solved per dollar value spent, and then graph it with a comparison to an equivalent full time police officer actually working a case to determine public money that is being misappropriated .

cannons weren't used on battlefields? Battlefields normally covered in trees because large scale tree felling for agriculture wasn't yet mechanized so clearing areas not immediately used for farming would be redundant?
