Both parents are wrong. When you're a parent, everything is planned (even if the kid wasn't), the kid comes first. If any of the parents wants to go out, is ok; but everything is planned: have to find a sitter, or one of the parents stay. And if you're a single parent (with an irresponsible parent on the other side), you have to find someone else to take care of the baby, or don't go out.

It sounds stupid, but I think it's like being aracnophobic: you are scared of them, but if you don't bother them, they don't bother you - For homophobic should be "if they don't show off their sex life (which the part that your phobic), why deny their right to live in peace??
