Cancers always been around. It's more prominent today because we know more about it.
There are plenty of factors that can cause cancer as it's just a cell gone bad. Plenty of time it's just chance. People can get liver cancer without ever having drank. Skin cancer with hardly ever going outside. Cancers mostly a matter of chance.
