Passive aggression is a good look, nic. But the key element is to not get butthurt when you make a political statement and someone else has the *sheer audacity* to respond to it.

Aww~. Poor baby just can't handle people having different opinions. Facts? Evidence? History? Nic doesn't need any of that. Just call people names and make up sexually explicit insults as soon as anybody challenges false or politically charged claim

My usual challenge is to show me one person charged with insurrection. I'll also point out that the mostly peaceful protest started long before the actual rally in another part of the district concluded, and then I point out actual armed uprisings that occurred prior to and after the Capital Riot. If I'm feeling particularly fiery I'll even mention capital riots that occurred against Trump and post-Jan 6th and ask why they aren't considered as bad or worse.
Leave it to nic to flee in the face of legal and factual arguments. If one doesn't want to engage in a subject, a great first step is to not mention the subject.

Texas doesn't care what outsiders say or think, either. Difference is, outsiders just won't leave Texas alone.

It didn't. I'm just saying that nobody needs an excuse to not interact with others beyond not wanting to interact

If you don't like 40 hours of overtime on top of the base pay you already agreed to work for, then don't take it.
I for one have bills to pay, family to give gifts to, bank accounts to grow, investments to make, and might actually enjoy my job.

You're begging the question. The difference is premeditated murder vs self-defense. Age has no bearing, location has no bearing. That isn't even a constitutional question, as even prohibited persons are still able to claim self-defense if they use a gun. They would still be prosecuted for illegal possession of a firearm (unless the DA would rather make a political statement than see actual justice), but legitimate self-defense clears murder.
But this is nothing you couldn't Google. I'm just happy to point out your fallacies and ignorance of the law.

If I have a rifle and am doing nothing wrong, then I am doing nothing wrong.
If you want to fuck with someone and have half a brain cell, you would figure not to fuck with the person who is visibly armed. A person who is armed that is doing nothing wrong is provoking and escalating nothing. They are just existing.
If you try to halt their existence, you are escalating a non-issue into a murder attempt. And that you're stupid enough to try to murder anyone, even someone who is visibly armed, makes you the thing escalating the situation. And also stupid.
If a little guy tries to kill a big guy, is the big guy wrong to kill the little guy in self defense? If a woman tries to kill a man, is the man wrong to kill her to defend his own life?

No, I won't show you my face. I won't show you where I live. And no, I would not be carrying anyplace where it is illegal to carry. And no, I don't have to prove that the police won't question me, because I never claimed they wouldn't. Only that they have reacted in the past with nothing worse than professional neutrality.
.
That particular riot in that particular night? The only people who died were those who tried to kill Kyle after he stopped them from blowing up a gas station. Not that it matters. Shots were fired by persons other than Kyle prior to his incident. People were hospitalized by violent assailants that night entirely seperate from the people who tried to murder Kyle.
And in near identical riots all over the nation unarmed people were brutalized and murdered. That's half the reason riots aren't protected protest. Try to move the goal posts all you want, you're wrong. The only question is if it's ignorance or malice. And I'm almost certain you're not that stupid.

You got it wrong, there's nothing moronic about being prepared for situations you don't expect, don't want, and may even hope for preparation to deter. At worst it's optimistic.
What's moronic is attacking somebody who has a rifle, and it's also moronic to attack someone who has a rifle and is running towards the police for help.

Ok, then. We can meet someplace where open carry is legal. I'll stand there and take whatever insults or threats you can imagine.
I'm not accusing *you* of resorting to slurs or threats. I'm saying that if you did, to my face while I was armed, you would be completely safe. And that if you tried to take my weapon or otherwise try to end my life, you would die. I would be the surviving victim of a murder attempt, and you would be the assailant.
Because that's what defines who the good guy and the bad guy is, or who the victim and the assailant is: Whoever tries to do actual harm. And no, feelings don't count. So if I shot you for mean words that would make me the bad guy/assailant.

Your own prejudices, or delusions as it looks like the case is, don't make you more knowledgeable about my own life than me.

You can say whatever you want about how little you care, but it falls flat looking at what brought this on. You started the fire, don't pretend you're burnt.
