But thank you for clarifying your position. Amazing what can be accomplished when you speak plainly and drop the condescension. Now I can see that we're largely in agreement. Now why were you hung up on masks? That argument is like 3 years old.

What? No, I'm actually calling that fucker out. When I'm not an unperson they'll censor my name or refer to me by a politically charged variation of "retard".

I'm not parsing through your dissertation. I'm just going to say that it is wrong for anybody to use any slur or nobody. I will add that my prior use of the slurs was in matter-of-fact tone as I was responding to a post that clearly invited discussion of slurs, and recalling my academic history and personal experience on the receiving end of slurs.
I'm also gonna say that our recent issues aside, @guest, it is nice that someone is responding who HASN'T treated my name like a vulgarity or referred to me by a politically charged variant of the slur "retard" @happy_frog I'm talking about you. Stop pretending to be offended.

Let's refocus. Your stance is that every measure enacted to "control covid" is legitimate. That the massive blue-collar uprising going on in Ottawa is suspect because "unions". And that we shouldn't challenge the propaganda being put out by A) the National leader that suspended elections and the Canadian Constitution and B) the Ottowan government that is trying to outlaw peaceful protest, steal millions of dollars meant for the protesters to instead benefit themselves and violent organizations, and actively endanger the peaceful protesters, because unless we're Canadian truckers we need to "sit down".
Is that all accurate?

So you're saying the line is drawn at harassment of third parties? Or?

The usual suspects would argue that organizing a smear/harassment campaign is just "the free market at work", whereas a government ran school should never do anything a pa(R)ticular elected party might want, because it's (D)ifferent for them. I know my thoughts on these arguments, would you share yours?

I know I was mad last year. One year into "2 weeks". And I was mad a year before then. I distinctly remember some of ya'll mocking and deriding me as a conspiracy theorist for (correctly) predicting the future.
It's almost like people are gonna stay angry when things only seem to have gotten worse. Go figure.

The only appreciable difference between being a crazed vagrant with a hyper fixation, or a field scientist, is writing stuff down.

Now, let's talk about a whole ass national government stealing millions of dollars worth of donated currency and goods from an actual peaceful protest, to benefit the very tyrants being protested against as well as violent extremist groups that said tyrant had thrown in with in recent history.

Yeah, no. A single school district taking a decades old books off the curriculum does not constitute a ban.

Report Mark Twain. And every author, artist, and musician to ever use a slur. Any slur.

Is my real life experience so repulsive to you? That I refuse to grant so much power to mere words?
What's your opinion on common curses and epithets? How can you function in life with such thin skin?

They're so unfortunate, they will have a father who will protect and guide them from the instant their mother says "I do" or "You're gonna be father", until his dying breath. And beyond if at all possible.
There is no thing worse for a child than having a man like me for a father. A man who knows the value of service, personal accountability, and discipline. A man who will honor and cherish their mother almost as much he will them. A man who will ensure they can fend for themselves in a world that wants to make them weak and then eat them for it. A man that knows before we can have fun we must have food in our bellies and wood on our fire.
Pity my children while you can. Yours will envy them.

Standard procedure is to hold in a defensive perimeter until EOD or Combat Engineers show up to decide on a course of action. Or, in other cases, you report to higher, mark it on a map, and Charlie Mike if your objective is not just a simple patrol or search.

That's not libertatian. That's literally the opposite. And it isn't capitalism either, unless you were educated by Marxists, who will ascribe all evils to capitalism because if they actually understood economics or slavery they wouldn't be Marxists.
Fascism is "Everything for the state. Nothing against the state. Nothing outside the state. Nothing but the state". It is a "Union of State and Corporation" (ie: Production and the means thereof belong to the state- hey that sounds familiar).

Yes. That's exactly what it is. A recollection of what I've been through in school, and a recollection of what I've been through in life. Thank you for stating the obvious?
