Let Karl tell me they denounce Antifa and BLM. At the very least, every bit of violence and every riot to have been started off by a bad guy ODing or getting shot while endangering people's lives and livelihoods.
I seem to recall Karl being on the wrong side of arguments when Antifa and BLM came up more often in conversation, and if I'm wrong I would be glad to be corrected. But their silence in the face of my initial reply is pretty loud.

Which is why I'm willing to interact with you on this subject. You aren't trying to offend me, in tone or content.
You aren't included in "some people". That's largely directed at the bully who is so offended by my existence that they see my name and immediately decide to dehumanize and harass me.

If only some people would appreciate the actual free money and life experience Terry is trying to share.

I can't believe people will support burning down cities and killing people over a fucking rapist being shot while trying to abduct kids, but support full on tyranny against people who only gave some truckers a sandwich and a dollar.

You might wanna reconsider your position when your heroes are rapists and wife-beaters.

Yup, after shrugging off a tazer and while attempting to drive off with the kids of the women who placed a restraining order against the "POC" over sexual assault charges.

Ah yes, yet another means to fleece and bludgeon political opponents. When weaponizing the banks and outlawing basic rights just don't cut it.

As far as I'm concerned their only allure is antiquity and novelty. Also, the collector's value.

Yup, a priceless artifact of which most were destroyed by the Japanese government after only 12,000 were produced in the first place.
Extraordinarily rare and valuable collector's item. Terry has outdone himself this week, if only it were more practical as a range toy.

It doesn't matter who has been around longer or even who is right or wrong.
Putin wants Ukraine. Ukraine doesn't want Putin. If neither side backs down it will come to blows.

So he did it just to take political prisoners, weaponize the banks, and prove he could?

That's all I needed. Someone nearby to reach into the water and pull me up.
Where I was? They just pointed, laughed, or pushed me down even deeper.

It has nothing to do with attitude. It's intrusive thoughts, a shadow of doubt you can sometimes glimpse through the day to day, and maybe you hear it whisper in your dreams, when it's quiet. But you wake up and go to work anyways.
Then something goes wrong. And the feeling drags you under the surface when you're weakest. You thrash and fight, but when you can finally see the light over the water again, you stop. Because so close to recovering, so close to getting back on the boat, you know that you don't deserve to. Because you're not good enough.
Happy thoughts are about as useful at helping this as they are at curing tuberculosis.

In some fantasy or dieselpunk story I could see this being the emergency sidearm that some frontiersman or Oakley expy uses to dispatch a giant monster with a heart shot (maybe one that the main party was barely surviving fighting), or taking out a distant sniper with a scope shot, after dramatically spinning towards the muzzle flash and quickdrawing like they're John Marston.
