I was going to apologize for my first comment, the one about makeup, but no way in hell I'm apologizing for this one.

One in four women are RAPED in their lives. Every woman who walks alone on the street is afraid of rape and harassment. Catcalls follow us wherever we go. I'm not invalidating male experiences, I'm not saying women don't do awful things to men, but I'm saying that all women face pressure and harassment from men.

I'm not saying that??? I'm saying that all women are harrassed and made uncomfortable daily by men? Most men don't; most men are kind and good people. Are any of you women?? Can you really say that women don't get harrassed?

*shrugs* Okay, whatever you say. But you can't deny that this society pressures women to wear makeup by setting up impossible standards to face in the media, in ads, etc, while men typically can get by with no or little makeup in said media.

So.... You're implying that a woman who wears makeup is not gorgeous without makeup? That sounds kinda like what guest said..... Women wear makeup because men say we're ugly without it.

It's far more likely that it would be a man, though I see what you are saying. In America (I don't know what country these people are in), the percentage of male abductors in "stereotypical kidnappings" is about 90% (though that seems kinda low), and the abductees are predominantly female (according to this shady website I found). I had trouble finding reliable statistics, however. But with a child so young, it's probably fine for now that the mother warns against strange men; she'll probably change to just strangers in general as the child gets older.

So you're saying a child deserves to die because they are bullying someone, a mistake they might regret later in life? That a victim should become a murderer and have to either live with the guilt of killing people or commit suicide because they saw it as a better option than to resolve their bullying civally?
