I think the down votes on your original post were because people assumed that you thought any of the "no" suggestions above constituted a "maybe" (in a serious way).
Which, I assume, is not what you meant...

I don't think anyone's praising this?? You shouldn't hurt anyone like this, ever?? But it's probably a more accepted standard because people assume that women are less strong than men (which is usually true), and they think that a woman can't really hurt a man as badly as the opposite. If a man attacked a woman with a golf club, you'd assume she's seriously injured or even dead, but when this happens, all you think is that maybe he's in the hospital, with like a broken arm or something.

"More equal"? It's called feminism because women have less rights than men, so it is the attempt to bring women up to the amount of (or lack of, in certain cases) rights that men have.

Very true. That's why feminism is trying to change things.

Well, it was a quote from a German officer after WWII. If you thought that flag was the actual German flag, you'd be an idiot.

Most advocates will be nowhere to be seen when the group they are advocating is doing something "bad." (e.g. The vast number of "masculinists" who will complain about the misandrists but will conveniently overlook their own gender's faults). There is a very respectable amount of feminists on tumblr that are willing to talk about the "negative" effects of gender equality for women, which is why I prefer to be there than here.

Not true. With equality between the genders, women will be treated as responsible for all their actions-- they will be as likely to face charges in cases like abuse or domestic violence, and fathers will be able to get an equal opportunity for custody of their children in cases of divorce. What is one example where women will have more opportunity than men in a gender-equal world?

THIS IS NOT FEMINISM! Most likely, this girl is a misandrist, a man hater. Feminists believe in equality, and if someone acts like this and decribes the putting down of men as feminism, they are gravely mistaken. :)

^ I agree with annoyinglypositive. Only you can know when the right time to come out is. If you think your dad would be unaccepting or even threatening toward you because of your sexuality, you should wait, but otherwise, it's up to you.
