I don't understand how tipping works 18 comments

Most of the time at a crowded bar you just put everything on your tab and add a tip when you close the tab at the end of the night. Or if paying in cash, you just hand him/her cash then either say "it's all set" and walk away (if you handed them the cost + tip) or when you get change back you throw down an extra dollar and walk away. They'll pick it up eventually

Most abortions are performed through vacuum aspiration or by taking a pill. First guest needs to read up on how/why/when abortions really happen.

It's not "my" 24 hours. You pick an arbitrary point in time and it ends 24 hours after that point in time. Regardless of the time on clocks around the world.

I think this refers to any 24 hour period. Why ruin a funny post with this nonsense?

I don't care about their personal time and personal choices. I'm saying that I see hundreds of dollars of my paychecks going towards taxes. And I don't want my money going towards this when it may very well be possible that rebudgeting or reassigning officers etc. could cut taxes if they really do have this extra time.

I actually volunteer at a soup kitchen a few times a month and work with an organization that collects coats and winter gear for the homeless. All I'm saying is taxes are very high and maybe the police department needs to look into their budget and scheduling

Fine if he has nothing to do why not do something for the ridiculously large homeless population in Toronto? There's just always something more productive than this.

Thanks paxxy! His shirt says Toronto too- a huge city with tons of crime. He could find something more productive to do than this.

Good point. But I'm saying the obsession with this one song is ridiculous. Half these kids were in diapers when it came out. (Bring on the comments saying that doesn't matter)

That's like being obsessed with one love by Bob Marley and claiming that makes you soooo reggae

I liked the song in 2006. It's a good song. It's a pop song. You're not punk.

It's pathetic how a bunch of kids are obsessed with a 2006 pop song. It's not cool and unique. It was literally on every radio station.

You're complaining about something yet you clearly have Internet access and enough free time to post this. You still have first world problems. You're not struggling to stay alive.
