It's like Elizabeth Taylor. Very beautiful and unusual! They say it's because you are melanin-deficient in the iris stroma (which, I guess is the definition of the blue eye color), and the red of your blood vessels is showing through in certain lighting.

@nerdsarecool1212 My sister has the same problem, and I imagine that makes you so nervous and frustrated! I originally started it all those years ago because it helped with my cystic acne (yuck!), and it helped. But then I went off of it because I was sort of "rebooting" my medication schedule to find where my hormone base-line was for when I want to have children...Good every once in a while, if you can stand to go without.

Yes, as a natural red-head, I will say that this is likely a dye job. A purple-based dye job. And I have half-blue-green eyes with a yellow center, so I would like to argue that that is the rarest combination....Just sayin'

Except you go off it and it is hell times 20. I just went back on it for my honeymoon, and I am literally going through hormone hell, just for condom-free sex. Boo.
