Your mother is stronger than you will ever be. It sounds harsh but it is true. Your mother carries the weight of you and your problems along with her own problems on her shoulders. That is a lot to hold on to so I think that she could kick you ass anyday

yes but that is not abuse that is punishment, abuse is when the parents did something wrong and they take it out on their kids. This pictures story is showing that many kids who get abused grow up to abuse their own children and they have anger problems. You are correct that children should be punished because if not then they would screw up again. But abuse is not right, if you got blamed for killing someone and got sent to jail for it and you didn't do it would you be upset? This is showing that the kid do not so anything to deserve this. I have never experienced this first hand but I have second hand and it is not fun. It is ok that you did not understand because I know a lot of people who think the same as you. I just wanted to explain, so please take this into consideration.
