It occurred to me on the most basic level ("his" wand was the source of his troubles) but I never realized- he would have /always/ been good at magic of he'd had a different wand?? Oh my god. My life is a lie.
Fellow Potterheads, please, when referring to Order of The Phoenix, abbreviate it OOTP, with the double O. Don't want to make that mistake and have a thousand angry fangirls yelling at you, saying that 'Otp is already a thing.' Which it is.
Wouldn't this occur with Ron as well ? Since he didn't have his own wand, it was a hand-me-down too? He wasn't good with a wand in the first two books (of course COS), but it wasn't until the POA, until he got his own wand, that Ron's mediocrity at magic practically ceased?
"Larry Potter" and it wouldn't be the end of the world
