Gender identity, too. Parents kicking out or harming their children over their sexual orientation or their gender identity, things they can't help and are a part of their nature, is just sickening. "You didn't grow up the way I wanted you to, so I want nothing to do with you."

I'm actually ashamed to have that comment on my post. Sure parents would like grandchildren but it's not their fucking life, is it? It's not the parent's job to decide how their child's life is going to work and if the parent loves their child enough, they shouldn't care what sexual preference one has. Or maybe their child is straight but doesn't actually want children. Parents should be able to accept that.

I'm a married lesbian and can't wait to start a family with her. Our parents are excited to be grandparents and they're proud of us regardless of our sexuality. I've got many other Gay and lesbian friends who are wonderful parents. Guest, being in a homosexual relationship is more than just sex, in fact its pretty much like a hetro relationship!
