I do not endorse apple products, or even like them. Except the iPod nano 3rd gen and iTunes.

Have you guys ever seen the Kindle vs. iPad commercials? The Kindle had better specs for a lower price. That fact applies to all Apple products and that's why I don't buy them or ask for them. My laptop cost the same amount as a mac book and it could easily out preform one. My s4 is still better than the newer iPhone 5. I feel that Apple focuses more on making the device look pretty, rather than making it function better.
P.S. Macs can still get viruses.
End rant.
I think they are different and both good for what people use them for. Apple products are more heavily focused on design and user interface, so they are good for a lot of people who aren't as good with computers or don't need a lot more from their products than basic functions. Other companies tend to make things that are a little more heavy duty and may be able to out perform the Apple equivalent, but may take a little more getting used to for your average Joe. So I think it depends on budget, what you are going to use it for, and how good you are with tech. No one product is always better than any other.

The only thing Apple do right is advertisement. And fooling everyone, but advertisement too.
Did those mofos REALLY just use Dead Poets Society to sell their product!?

They work fine. Just like every other brand. But at the double or triple pricing and much more restrictions.
With the addition of many features that aren't always good but that help people without lots of tech knowledge or who don't need a lot from their devices.
P.S. Macs can still get viruses.
End rant.
