Read it backwards

I saw this really funny thing on tumblr. It's one of those 'can you read this?' with all the mixed up letters but with the first and last letters in place. A guy is saying it how it's pronounced (ex. tihs) and I was crying from laughing so hard.

Oh I thought you had to literally read all of the words backwards so it would be 'ma I sa derob sa uoy era'. Jeez I feel really stupid now.

I actually tried this several times, didn't see what was written on the bottom... I'll cry myself to sleep now
