Nice try. Cop will still arrest you. He saw you with them, his world will be enough for an arrest and trip to jail and having to pay bail to get out.

I think he would have let the guy go though. I mean, how would you explain that?
"I got a kid here, had a bag of drugs on him."
"Where are the drugs?"
