"In the way of love" are they implying that love is a feeling? No no no, love is an act/action. You can be loving to someone but not love them. Just the same as kindness?

Honestly, it depends on how you look at it, but I guess love could be a feeling OR an act. I've always thought of it as a feeling, but you make a very valid point.

Those that choose to stand around and wait for somebody else to do it for them deserve what they get. Unfortunately this man and his actions are not the norm as they should be. Hats off to him for showing the rest of us how a responsible citizen should live.
