In the uk we drive on the left side of the road. Because of all the winters and bad weather that we have it it destroys our roads, leaving potholes and ditches. The government claim to not be able to pay to fix it all because of how often this occurs. These holes and ditches damage cars when you go over them because it slams the car down. So when driving we try to avoid them but because there is so many it means we literally drive on what is still left of the road, the straight, un damaged part. This is not true though because in some parts of the uk the roads are fine but with minior damages but other places have huge damages such as the one in the picture above. Do you understand now?
