The greatest lyrics I have ever come up with come to me at night, when I'm engulfed in my thoughts. Unfortunately, I'm laying in bed and forget it as soon as I get up, so my greatest lyrics will forever be lost.
Ed Sheeran is totally underrated artist considering he didn't just get famous like that, he played in pubs and gradually got better he writes all of his own songs, he lets people have his songs sometimes (even though his management doesn't allow it; Little things by One Direction was made by him) and he isn't a huge dick like most "artists" these days. He is so down to earth and such a sentimental guy and has such a good voice. Most of his songs are only made by the sounds his body makes (beatbox, singing, instruments etc. He does his music with the least amount of auto tune (at times none at all), you can't even tell the difference between the acoustic version and the edited version. He knows what to do with music. He is definitely my biggest inspirations.
Although I'm not a fan of most pop artists I can honestly say I agree with you, Ed Sheeran has music in his veins; you can hear and feel when somebody truly loves music and Ed Sheeran has that love that goes beyond talent. He is more than a musician, he is an artist
I think hearing him write for other artists, (mainly 1D) really shows his talent, One Direction's song writing has improved as their management allows them to write less cheesy songs, but the maturity and just talent in the songs Ed writes for them (Moments, Over Again, and Little Things) stands out from their other music so much, it just shows how developed his singer-songwriter skills are.
