I worked with an asshole who did this to me over the summer. And his excuse was. "What, you'll never get her anyway." I punched him in the face then quit.

Maybe if you didn't rate people with numbers you would have better luck

If they were really hitting it off, I doubt she would have left just because some creepy guy showed up.
