In the netherlands they teach it at gymnasium schools. Theyre high schools with the hardest classes and grading. Im on one!

They teach latin at my school but the only reason people take it is that they say it helps them with their SAT's.

You can learn latin, but it is a dead language, there is no correct pronunciation for any of the words.

There is a correct pronunciation. Just because a language is no longer in use does not mean the way you would say the words changes.

The point is nobody knows the correct pronunciation, there was a several hundred year period where nobody spoke latin at all.

There was not a period of centuries when Latin wasn't spoken - since it was first used, it has not stopped being used.
