I saw this performance and it was pretty fucking amazing. Figure skating is my fave in the winter olympics.

And they do this while skating. I can't even stand up without transforming me into a retarded duck

That's the hardest part about figure skating, looking calm and graceful, while jumping spinning, and being lifted by your partner.

Years of training and developing trust with your partner, knowing that he won't drop you on your face.

These two skated a beautiful program!

Figure skating is so mind boggling to watch. I have so much respect for the male figure skaters who somehow manage to lift up their partner with one arm, and the female skater for basically trusting them with their life.

Pairs skating is probably one if the most dangerous sports out there; when I started skating, my grandparents threatened to disown me if I did pairs! Good thing I do ice dance instead... The lifts don't go above the male's head.
