Or when you invite the new person into your group and show them around and then they leave and become popular and you are just sitting down like "i made you"
Mean girls. That sounds like mean girls.
Why do people want to be popular? Can't you just be popular with your friends? And even then, you don't have to be popular because your true friends don't love you for your popularity.
Well sometimes in a small group if they choose to leave you out of the conversation you can feel ignored. Most of the time it's because you want people to acknowledge your presence in the room and it makes you feel important, y'know?
I've been part of the popular group once before and I can tell you, you're a whole lot better off with your own group of awesome friends than the popular kids.
I think it depends if you can actually identify with the popular kids as individuals, if you can do that than it would be the same as any close knit group of friends. But if you're all just hanging out together because you all look like supermodels, then it's never going to work because you have nothing in common.
in 6th grade I made the Vampire Group where we ran around and pretended to be vampires and stuff. I kinda bit everyone's wrist to enter, then we started playing. until fuckin Meaghan came along. She took it over saying to 'join meaghans group' and pushed me around... she said it was actually her group and stole everyone away.
so i stabbed her
That was me for the rest if the year. But then I moved and hung out with different people. So now I'm part of the outcasts!! Which is me and my friends at a table.
Mean girls. That sounds like mean girls.
