Actually, this is the single most important message our youths need to hear, just portrayed very very poorly. Institutional education past Elementary/Primary school is the biggest waste of time for so many people. Not just because they're poor quality, but because they have to cater to large classes, and as a result have to go at the pace of the slowest student. I dropped out of Secondary school (The final state of mandatory education in the UK) at the end of the 2nd to last year, as a result I missed out on getting my GCSEs, which are required by almost every job, and required to get into college.
3 years later I'm earning more than my dad and laying the foundation to start up my own business. And yet, several friends from secondary school went on to go to college, and some to university after that, and they still can't get jobs.
I kind of like this song cause it's like "hey rich monopoly people thanks for abandoning us and ruining our world with your stupid chemicals and dirty smog and non-clean energy it's close to gone but you don't care"
Because they're the only ones who do that and we have no control? Let's face it: it's everyone's fault and we have to change it. Even if they all changed, that would be a tiny subset of the population.
