When done properly the small glass lands facing down with most of the alcohol still inside it and will slowly leak out into the bigger glass, or something to that effect. I might be wrong about that though.

Well those are going in upright meaning all the alcohol goes in and mixes all at once. It is known as a "bomb". Example would include a sake bomb. Where you have a mug if beer with a shot glass of sake balanced carefully on two chopsticks on top of the beer you bang the table the shot glass falls in the beer then you chug the whole thing really fast.

No problem I don't drink like that very often, actually never. I prefer small groups of friends to drink with at home.

Well, you can fuck up your brain with alcohol too. Seems cliche but moderation is key, I admit one point in my life I was addicted to that shit and it does mess with your brain. But I've learnt that with moderation it can be beneficial. But this is a controversial issue so lets leave it at that. :)

Also it's really hard to get addicted to. Physically anyways. Obviously you can have a mental dependence, but that can happen with anything.

It can't cause mental health issues, it can only induce them in people who are already prone to them, so if you have mental health issues running in the family then you shouldn't smoke. I don't think you should consume any psychoactive substances if you are preconditioned with mental illness, apart from coffee maybe. :)

Yeah there is absolutely no evidence that weed can cause a person to become mentally handicapped. There have been studies that show it affects the hippocampus (though the jury is still out since studies have gone both ways so far).
