When someone sits in your seat it messes up the entire classroom seating arrangement (that technically doesn't exist). But still sit in your own seat people!!!
Humans are creatures of habit. At my school, we can sit wherever we want for the first two weeks of school. We sit in one seat the first day and the same one for the next two weeks. One of those days in math, someone sat in someone else's 'spot' and so they had to move creating utter chaos in class.
I remember one time at lunch in HS I got up to get something to drink and when I came back one of the foreign exchange students took my spot. I asked him to get up, he refused/ignored me. So being the easily angered person I am, I took the chair by the leg and pulled it out from under him. He didn't fall, but I think he didn't expect me to do that because he looked startled and everyone was shocked and probably expected a fight. He went and got another chair.. I know I should've just got another chair but that was MY SPOT! And I don't like being taken advantage of.

One time at school this person sat in my seat and I said "you're in my seat" they replied "I don't see your name on it" and I swear I hissed out "it will be in your blood if you don't move" and another time I straight out tipped the chair and then calmly sat in it while they were escorted to the nurse.
