from ancient greek through shakespirian time to early america and even through the twenties and thirties. Only lately have we gotten the crazy idea that bones showing is ideal. Not saying it's thin is ugly but extreme anorexic and unhealthy is not very pretty.

Anorexia isn't attractive, only some girls think that. Thin, toned girls on the other hand are more attractive than someone with excess weight. We work with what we know, and what we know now is that being fat is incredibly unhealthy, just like being really underweight.

Ok. Let's get something straight. Sometimes anorexia isn't a choice. When I was younger, I had a stomach disease that every time I ate ANYTHING I would get a horrible stomach ache that felt like my stomach was getting crushed and made me feel so nauseous. As a kid, I didn't know what anorexia was and I sure didn't like the feeling or my stomach hurting every time I ate. So i stopped eating. I was down to 35 lbs. in 3rd grade. At the age of 9 theta about half of what I should've weighed. even now at almost 14 I'm 80 pounds and I can't gain weight easily. I still take my medication, and go to our hospital every month for therapy. it's not always "I want to be skinny." Sometimes it's "I have a heath problem"

You need to look up anorexia nervosa. Anorexia is a choice, albeit extreme, and you did not have anorexia.

I love me a woman with a full body. i just can not resist. TBH i don't like most models, sure they're pretty but, i'd rather have a sexy laday ;D

Don't judge me, or think I"m stuck up- but I'm skinny and I generally think skinny tall girls are more attractive than curvy girls. I don't think skinny shaming is any better than fat-shaming :) just adding my two cents.

By today's standards that is still fat. And you may actually be incredibly ugly, what do you want me to say? Ugly people were ugly in the old days too you know. Seems to me like you were having a fishing trip young lady.

A- how are thy meant to know what your body looks like? and b- whether your face is the only attractive part of your body, or even attractive at all, depends completely on the person looking at it. Chin up beautiful :)

Excess can be unattractive. Where to draw the line is subjective.

The times haven't changed, they were making women ashamed of their bodies then and they still do it now. Just reversed, still not acceptable.
