I hate it. But I love cross-country and alpine skiing so that's good.

Meanwhile in Texas school gets cancelled because nobody knows how to drive on barely iced over roads

Lucky Texas. I don't even wear a winter coat unless it's below 0

Anything below 70 is intolerable weather for me. But then, 85 is "warm" so

I understand where you're coming from. I have family in California so I laugh when they visit and it's like 50 degrees and they're in winter coats.

The problem is not, in fact, the ice. You are forgetting almost everybody in TX owns some sort of "big car" that can cut through that easily; and those that don't, well, some of them are either brave enough to go out like that (though most decide to stay at home), or smart enough as to wait for the roads to clear. The problem is what it's called "black ice". You can certainly see the snow, and the ice, but black ice is a complete different matter. How would you feel driving in icy conditions where you can't distinguish between an ice-covered road, and a "iceless" one? Plus, have you seen how many bridges they are constructing there nowadays? Do you know how high some of them are getting? Do you really want to cross some of them in such conditions?

I hate crossing the bridges in NORMAL conditions

My question is... Who doesn't know what black ice is? What are you, new?

Well, it certainly doesn't look like. Some people like to point the obvious. Besides, now we know you all know why they complain like the Earth is coming to an end!

Well sully, Texas RARELY gets any freezing temperatures at all, so we don't ever learn about what that is.

Does Texas not get national news? It's mentioned every year about black ice, snow storms, flooding due to extreme snow and then high temperature melting said snow. Now it's freezing that melted snow causing not only ice, but.... Wait for it... Black ice. Get out of your own world Texas.

People do not understand Texas winters it can be 90+ one day and the next be 30 that may not sound very much to you but to people accustomed to heat it is
