Actually, by eating the cow, you're supporting farming them. There wouldn't be nearly as many cows as there are if people didn't eat them.

Cows as well as all of the other animals we eat are MASS PRODUCED because people are willing to pay for them! Yes there would still be cows if people didn't farm them but there wouldn't be enough to have the horrific effects on our planet that they do now. Factory farming is as bad for the earth as it is cruel.

This is dumb on so many levels. Vegans eat the offspring of plants aka the fruit and vegetables, which doesn't affect the co2 or oxygen levels at all. That's what the leaves on trees are for

People should shut the hell up about vegetarians/vegans. It's their choice if they want to not eat meat or eat meat. I'm not even vegetarian for fuck sake.

Actually, feed animals are a major reason for deforestation and famine. If the whole world ate a vegan diet, we wouldn't need to tear down as many forests and there would be more than enough food for every person on the planet. Source: Forks Over Knives (a documentary you can stream on Netflix)
