This is badass. How much would it hurt a human if he/she were hit? If only a little, how much would it take for it to become a lethal weapon?

Well, the whole thing is about transferring energy, in this case, it's not much because it only has 3 stages, it may cause a little sting. There's some guy on YouTube who made a 16 stage (I think) gauss rifle and he was able to break a ceramic pot with it
Like Newton's Cradle? cool. I have a picture in my head that I will attempt to put on here. I'll have to post it somewhere and then give the link. It pretty much makes a ridiculously long weapon into a more compact one.
The guy in the video had his rifle set up so the ball went down each level, so he was able to hold the gun without it being 50 feet long. I'll have to find that video now
That was amazing! I'm gonna watch the others that I see in the recommended column. Have you played Infamous? I want to build a portable device that allows you to direct electricity in a certain direction. It's the same concept as Infamous but you don't get to do all the fancy eltricity grenades and stuff but it can still harm someone. The only hurdle I've encoutered is how will I get the electricity out and focused on one spot? Gotta love science.
