Well, there's a comma there, so in this case 'whatever' is not used to refer to Umbridge, but instead to how little she matters to darkanhell. But, I do agree. Umbridge is clearly a what, not a who.

The only person I hated more than umbridge by the end of that movie was Bellatrix Lestrange.

This is rad. A lot of people just hate her because of how she treated the students, period, but this explanation truly shows why she really is one of the most hated book characters of all time.

No one ever comments on her actual name. Is that because it's so obvious or because umbrage isn't commonly used? Either way, like so many things hiding in plain site in the Potter realm, she is aptly named.
