So true. I am about to graduate from college and I am kind of stressing out about it because now people are asking "what are you going to do with your life now? Do you have a job lined up? You better have it all figured out by the time you graduate." No pressure..
Once upon a time I got in an internet argument with an older woman about some stupid pointless topic, but because I was young, she thought my opinion to be invalid no matter how educated I was on the subject. She said my claims were "copied and pasted" which they weren't. They were facts that I pulled from beneath my own skull. She only assumed I was too young to know anything about the world. She assumed that because I was young I couldn't have my own opinion. I'm 17. I've been educated on the topic for a large majority of my life when it comes down to the numbers. I know what I'm talking about.
Us as the younger generation, we're stripped of respect because of how we act. However were we not raised by the generation that looks down upon us? Who's really at fault here?
I'm sick of the older generation. Old men dream up wars for young men to die in. Older generations say they know best, but what have they done to this country (USA)?
They messed up, we have to clean up, yet they expect us to abide to their decisions, saying it's best. What is going to happen if we keep doing this!?
This is why I have little to no respect for the older generations of society
