This is what I think about older generations

All of my grandparents nagged about the younger generation, but refused to learn more about modern technology saying it was stupid..

That's like saying "all the black people I know commit crimes, so all black people must be bad"
It's not true.

Or like saying, "Gay people demand tolerance, yet aren't tolerant of people not liking them."

I wasn't saying all old people are bad, I just said they can be stubborn..

That's STILL stereotyping. "I'm not saying black people are convicts, but they get arrested a lot"

Stereotypes exists for a reason. And by the way, being stubborn is not always a bad thing. And the analogue you typed doesn't make sense, because it doesn't fit the context of what I said about old people. So please don't put words in my mouth.
