Not necessarily. If the mom was white and the dad was black or the other way round, probably the child will be dark skinned because that's the predominant color. Maybe he's not adopted hahaha

I'm proof. My father is black and my mother is white and I have a lighter skin color, while me friends with the same colored parents are darker
