Its not. I've never just assumed someone was on her period. Emotions are a natural normal thing. If you lie about stuff like this I write you off as insecure and selfish.

As a woman I can confirm this post is true, I hate it when people do this. It's like hey, my emotions are valid, and I am allowed to have them. Even if I am on my period, that just means my bullshit tolerance is reduced. Your's would be too!

Personally, I don't find that true. Now I'm only speaking about relationships here, but when you're with a good man, he won't think that you're a hysterical psycho for showing some emotion as long as you don't act like a hysterical psycho when you express your emotions. Expressing emotion doesn't have to be an all or nothing response and GOOD men WANT to hear what is going on in your head.
