I go to a middle school and the 7th graders there wear more make-up than the 12th graders -_- it pisses me off so much. They wear lipstick, foundation, conceler (however that is spelled) mascara, darken their eyebrows to chocolate brown when their hair is blond, blush, bronzer, and etc. the list goes on and on. What makes me even more pissed off is that they are "popular" when they look like young clowns. And all they post on their facebook walls/ instagram is either their faces full of make up, or new make up pictures with the caption "OMG MY MOM JUST GOT ME MAC REBEL LIPSTICK, I'M IN LOVE."
Aye count me in, too! Why do people hide what they've got? I get serious facial eczema, real ugly, real itchy. And I strut that stuff, 'cause I am fabulous. Besides, it's fun to scare people with it. "What's on your face?!" I mean good god, it's not like I can change it.
I'm 13, by the way.
I started wearing makeup at 12. And that's because I had terrible terrible acne and was very self concious. I tried to get rid of it in many ways but it didn't go away until recently now I am 15. Makeup gave me confidence. And I didn't wear that much, just foundation, concealer and mascara. Sometimes I wore a little bit of clear lip gloss. My mom showed me how to wear it too, she would also tell me to take some off it was to much. Makeup is something I love to do. It's an art form really. And it makes me mad when girls AND adults act like they are ao much better and prettier than me because they don't wear makeup. It doesn't matter! You don't have to wear makeup that's fine, but don't make people feel bad for wearing it. When I have mascara on people will be like, "you look so good without makeup" well here's some news for you, I am wearing makeup. Everyone has natural beauty, but makeup is supposed to enhance that not cover it.
It makes me mad also when I talk to boys and their like "I like that girl, she doesn't wear makeup. She's so pretty" and I'll look at the girl and she's wearing makeup. The girls who do it right aren't supposed to look like they're wearing it. And that's what I do. So don't judge other people if you don't know how makeup works. Don't act like you're so much better because you don't wear it. Young girls just don't know how to apply it yet. They are still learning. They'll get better. Making fun of them isn't going to help.
Oh i know, i didn't mean you. Sorry, this subject always makes me fly off the handle. I don't know why it makes me so mad. I think its just because all the teenagers i meet are super rude about wearing makeup and for some reason i'm "shallow" for wanting to put some eyeliner on, or even *gasp* some lipgloss! No hard feelings, it wasn't directed towards you.
In Grade 7 (I'm a boy) these girls were mocking other girls for their use in make-up. I wanted to punch them so fucking hard. The girls all looked good, but the judging ones looked like walking plastic dolls. Haha, I actually swore at one about a month ago :-D man, that was fun
