I've noticed that majority of intelligent people are VERY good readers and read books that are quite advanced for their age

Even though I don't really like reading books, I could read at quite a young age. And I'm pretty clever if I may say so myself.

I used to read a lot when I was a child. I would read at least 50 pages otherwise I couldn't sleep. But nowadays I have to read a lot for school work, and to get my mind out of there I listen to music and play games rather than reading.

I used to be like you mynameaintfred. Switch to non-fictioin books on topics that you find interesting, they just might reignite your love of reading. I haven't read a fiction book in almost 10 years, but have been reading non-fiction for the last 5 years at 3-4 a month and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'd say 95% of people in 95% of schools are not so smart.

Yeah, but by high school you would think they would know a thing or two.

It opens their minds making them want to learn more. When they want to learn more they learn more.
