I actually love this movie soooo much like I want more people to see it. It is lemony Snickets, A Series Of Unfortunate Events. And the books are epic as well.

I hated the books because they were so... for lack of a better word, "unfortunate", but they were really well written

That's why they are so good. The way the kids like pushed through all these hardships, but, they always had each other, but hey, you can't please everyone lol.
