Agreed. Funny, I guess. But the parent is teaching the kid to treat animals badly. Pets are not toys.

That child is young and does not understand the needs of anyone but himself. He saw the cat, wanted it to join him, and pulled it in the tub. Smacking that child would teach him nothing but to fear you.

True, I don't agree with corporal punishment being used. But instead of filming the child while they drag the cat into the tub, the parent should have put the phone down to rescue the cat and teach the child.

A spanking would teach him to fear me? I got spankings all the time as a kid, and I don't fear my parents.

My brother threw one of our cats across the hall when it was a kitten and he was maybe 7 or 8. It still loved him though
