SO could also be supervising officer, but I doubt that's the case.

Not to be a downer (because the pic is very funny) but my friend and her SO actually found a body and they had to go in for questioning it was terrible.

The man had a heart attack and died while he was running but the police didn't know that until they did the autopsy so they had to keep my friend and her boyfriend at the police station just in case. They had found him while they were on a run together.
