This is such a bad idea! 1. You could place bombs on any number of civilians and kill them easily and instantly. 2. Every person has the right to a fair trial under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and if they are dead they can't really have that trial. 3. There are many ways to bring weapons into a secure place that won't detonate, for example a knife. This wouldn't explode, but if there was no visual checks you could bring them into the airplane and do major damage.

Pretty sure it's a normal airport body scanner.... (The picture) went to Mexico 2 weeks ago and had to go through that thing. Kinda fun.
