How did the school not figure this out? I mean how did they not once contact the parents. Or the fact they have birth certificates on file when you sign up for school. I just can't see this to be true.

My friend never talked at all and never raised her hand or responded and I only talked to her outside of school and everyone thought she was mute until one day everyone was yelling in class while she was reading and she yelled "SHUT THE FUCK UP" and that's the story of the first time my friend spoke at school.
