I actually said something like that to the principal at my middle school once when I got in trouble for saying that I didn't mind being in detention for sort of punching someone I really hated. it was an anonymous note and I don't think they knew it was me

Society: No, you need a social life.

That's exactly how I feel. Why do they teach us to be ourselves if they don't want us to be ourselves? It's like they invented a paradox!
