McDonald's chips are actually 'created' and while they do contain real potato they also contain a beef product and have a coating that contains sugar to make them crisp up so much. ***THE MORE YOU KNOW***

They take the potatoes, mash them, add "flavorings," then run them through a machine that molds them into the right shape and adds the coating before frying them.

Us Irish have found ways to make our potato's bigger as to not starve in case of a decline. Again.

I work at Wendy's & wonder the same thing when I see a fry 3 times the size of a 'normal' fry!! :)
