The celebration of lights

This is actually just a regular photo of India, the colours were added to show population growth, and extra light from Diwali would be imperceptible from space

Am I the only one who gets depressed at photos like this? Where have the wild places gone :(

Nepal,Sri Lanka, China,Bangladesh and Pakistan are there but whole North East of India isn't
